Have you been to the Louisville Zoo lately? Well, head on over, because there is still plenty of summer left and outdoor fun to be had at our zoo! Check out what is still left to see, do, play, and get involved with during these last few weeks before school starts back up again around the area. At the Louisville Zoo, whether you're a member, first time visitor, using your Cultural Pass or visiting from out of town, you'll find all kinds of interesting things to do and see.

Summer camps at the zoo are still in progress. There is a camp with slots still available during the week of July 20-24 (afternoon only). It's called Wonder of it All. Another camp week with slots open in the afternoon is called From A to Zebra that runs from July 27-31. See this list for more camps but hurry before they all fill up!

Zoo members can enjoy the twilight hours of summer evenings at the zoo on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Members can enter until 7:30 p.m. during these select days throughout the rest of the month. The zoo remains open until 8 p.m. in June and July so take advantage of the cooler evenings.

Splash for fun now through Labor Day at Papa John's Splash Park. Zoo members only can enjoy a Member-Only Mornings perk by entering the splash park Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. through the remainder of July.

Your special birthday child can enjoy a "Birthday with the Bears" at the Louisville Zoo! According to the website, all parties include the following:

Two hours in our award winning Glacier Run Classroom
A Zoo consultant to help you plan and host your party
A private small animal encounter, access to the daily bear presentation
All-day admission to the Zoo for 20 people
Free parking for all your guests
    Printable invitations

This Saturday, July 11, there is the Norton Healthcare Get Healthy Walking Club Expo. It runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be free health screenings, family fun activities, adult health information and more. Learn more about it here.

On Friday, July 17, head to the zoo for the Great Clips Friday Night movie series. They are showing "Big Hero 6" starting at 6 p.m. (The movie starts at sundown.) The movie events are free for zoo members and 5 dollar admission after 5 p.m. for non-members. Find more here.

Are you looking for part-time or seasonal work? Apply to work at the zoo for different positions that are open now until October 31. Apply online here.

Save the date: August 22 is the Zoo's annual Brew at the Zoo & Wine Too! This fundraiser helps support the work of the zoo and conservation efforts; all proceeds benefit the Louisville Zoo.
