    Here’s a quick look at how Louisville natives and University of Louisville products did in Week 7 of the NFL season.

    Louisville natives

    Corey Peters (Atlanta): The fifth-year defensive tackle, a Central High School graduate and former University of Kentucky standout, tallied three tackles in the Falcons’ 29-7 loss at Baltimore.

    C.J. Spillman (Dallas): The sixth-year defensive back, a Central grad and former Marshall University standout, tallied one tackle in the Cowboys’ 31-21 win over the New York Giants.

    Former UofL players

    Gary Barnidge (Cleveland): The tight end, who is in his seventh season, played but didn’t register a catch in the Browns’ 24-6 loss at Jacksonville.

    Teddy Bridgewater (Minnesota): The rookie quarterback completed 15 of 26 passes for 157 yards and his first career touchdown pass to go along with two interceptions (he was also sacked five times) in the Vikings’ last-second 17-16 loss at Buffalo.

    Preston Brown (Buffalo): The rookie starting inside linebacker recorded six tackles in the Bills’ last-second win over Minnesota.

    Harry Douglas (Atlanta): The wide receiver, who is in his sixth season, missed his fourth straight game (the Falcons’ 29-7 loss at Baltimore) due to a foot injury.

    Elvis Dumervil (Baltimore): The outside linebacker, who is in his ninth season, two tackles (both sacks) off the bench in the Ravens’ 29-7 win over Atlanta. Dumervil now has seven sacks on the season.

    William Gay (Pittsburgh): The cornerback, who is in his eighth season, tallied five tackles in his fourth straight start in the Steelers’ 30-23 triumph over Houston on Monday night.

    Breno Giacomini (New York Jets): Giacomini started at right tackle for the Jets in their 27-25 loss at Denver on Thursday night.

    Senorise Perry (Chicago): The rookie running back didn’t have a carry, or return a kick in the Bears’ 27-14 loss to Miami.

    Bilal Powell (New York Jets): The fourth-year running back played, had one carry for 7 yards in the Jets’ 27-25 loss at New England on Thursday night. 

    Calvin Pryor (New York Jets): The rookie free safety tallied a team-high seven tackles in the Jets’ 27-25 loss at New England.

    Greg Scruggs (Seattle): The third-year defensive end, who was re-signed by the Seahawks just three days after being waived by them, saw his first action of the season but didn’t register a tackle in the team’s surprising 28-26 loss at St. Louis.

    Marcus Smith (Philadelphia): The rookie linebacker, who was a first-round draft pick, didn’t play this week because the Eagles are on a bye.

    Byron Stingily (Tennessee): The fourth-year offensive tackle came off the bench in the Titans’ 19-17 loss at Washington.

    Eric Wood (Buffalo): Wood, in his sixth year in the league, started at center - his 70th consecutive start - for the Bills in their last-second 17-16 victory over Minnesota.
