    Here’s a quick look at how Louisville natives and University of Louisville products did in Week 6 of the NFL season.

    Louisville natives

    Corey Peters (Atlanta): The fifth-year defensive tackle, a Central High School graduate and former University of Kentucky standout, tallied one tackle in the Falcons’ 27-13 loss to visiting Chicago.

    C.J. Spillman (Dallas): The sixth-year defensive back, a Central grad and former Marshall University standout, played but didn't record a tackle in the Cowboys’ surprising 30-23 win at Seattle.

    Former UofL players

    Gary Barnidge (Cleveland): The tight end, who is in his seventh season, played but didn’t register a catch in the Browns’ surprising 31-10 win over Pittsburgh.

    Teddy Bridgewater (Minnesota): The rookie quarterback’s second start didn’t go nearly as well as his first. Bridgewater completed 23 of 37 passes for 188 yards and was intercepted three times and sacked eight times in the Vikings’ 17-3 loss to Detroit.

    Preston Brown (Buffalo): The rookie inside linebacker tallied two tackles off the bench in the Bills’ 37-22 loss to New England.

    Harry Douglas (Atlanta): The wide receiver, who is in his sixth season, missed his third straight game (the Falcons’ 27-13 loss to Chicago) due to a foot injury.

    Elvis Dumervil (Baltimore): The outside linebacker, who is in his ninth season, had three tackles, including 1.5 sacks, in the Ravens’ 48-17 rout of Tampa Bay.

    William Gay (Pittsburgh): The cornerback, who is in his eighth season, tallied two tackles in his third straight start in the Steelers’ surprising 31-10 loss at Cleveland.

    Breno Giacomini (New York Jets): Giacomini started at right tackle for the Jets in their 31-17 loss to Denver.

    Senorise Perry (Chicago): The rookie running back didn’t have a carry, or return a kick, but did record a tackle in the Bears’ 27-13 win at Atlanta.

    Bilal Powell (New York Jets): The fourth-year running back played, had two carries for 4 yards in the Jets’ 31-17 loss to Denver. 

    Calvin Pryor (New York Jets): The rookie free safety had six tackles in the Jets’ 31-17 loss to Denver.

    Greg Scruggs (Seattle): The third-year defensive end was waived by the Seahawks on Saturday, the day before their surprising 30-23 loss to Dallas.

    Marcus Smith (Philadelphia): The rookie linebacker, who was a first-round draft pick, played but didn’t register a tackle in the Eagles’ 27-0 triumph over the New York Giants on Sunday night.

    Byron Stingily (Tennessee): The fourth-year offensive tackle saw his first action of the regular season Sunday in the Titans’ 16-14 win over Jacksonville.

    Eric Wood (Buffalo): Wood, in his sixth year in the league, started at center - his 69th consecutive start - for the Bills in their 37-22 loss to New England.
