Here’s a quick look at how Louisville natives and University of Louisville products did in Week 4 of the NFL season.

    Louisville natives

Corey Peters (Atlanta): The fifth-year defensive tackle, a Central High School graduate and former University of Kentucky standout, tallied two tackles in the Falcons’ 41-28 loss at Minnesota.

C.J. Spillman (Dallas): The sixth-year defensive back, a Central grad and former Marshall University standout, played but didn’t register a tackle in the Cowboys’ 38-17 surprising blowout of New Orleans on Sunday night.

Garry Williams (Carolina): The sixth-year offensive tackle, a Seneca High School grad and former UK standout, was placed on injured reserve Saturday due to a back injury.

    Former UofL players

Gary Barnidge (Cleveland): The tight end, who is in his seventh season, didn’t play this week because the Browns are on their bye.

Teddy Bridgewater (Minnesota): The rookie quarterback led the Vikings to a surprising 41-28 victory over the visiting Falcons in his first career start. Bridgewater completed 19 of 30 passes for 317 yards and also rushed five times for 27 yards, including a 13-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Bridgewater also tossed a 2-point conversion pass before injuring his left ankle late in the game. X-rays were negative, but Bridgewater’s status for Thursday night’s game at Green Bay is uncertain at this point.

Preston Brown (Buffalo): The rookie, who started at inside linebacker, tallied a team-high nine tackles in the Bills’ 23-17 loss at Houston. Brown now has 40 tackles on the season.

Harry Douglas (Atlanta): The wide receiver, who is in his sixth season, was inactive during the Falcons’ loss at Minnesota due to a foot injury.

Elvis Dumervil (Baltimore): The outside linebacker, who is in his ninth season, recorded three tackles, including 1.5 sacks and three quarterback hits in the Ravens’ 38-10 triumph over visiting Carolina. Dumervil now has 3.5 sacks on the season.

William Gay (Pittsburgh): The cornerback, who is in his eighth season, tallied four tackles in his first start of the season Sunday against Tampa Bay. Gay got burned, however, by Vincent Jackson on the game-winning touchdown catch with 7 seconds to play.

Breno Giacomini (New York Jets): Giacomini started at right tackle for the Jets in their 24-17 loss to Detroit.

Senorise Perry (Chicago): The rookie running back didn’t have a carry, or return a kick, in the Bears’ 38-17 loss to Green Bay.

Bilal Powell (New York Jets): The fourth-year running back played, but didn’t register a carry or a catch in the Jets’ 24-17 loss to Detroit.

Calvin Pryor (New York Jets): The rookie free safety, and first-round draft pick in this past spring’s draft, tallied three tackles - including half a sack and one quarterback hit - in the Jets’ 24-17 loss to Detroit. Pryor, however, injured his thigh on the sack he combined for with Muhammad Wilkerson late in the second quarter and did not return.

Greg Scruggs (Seattle): The third-year defensive end didn’t play this week because the Seahawks were on a bye.

Marcus Smith (Philadelphia): The rookie linebacker, who was a first-round draft pick, played but didn’t register a tackle in the Eagles’ 26-21 loss at San Francisco.

Byron Stingily (Tennessee): The fourth-year offensive tackle didn’t play in the Titans’ 41-17 loss at Indianapolis.

Eric Wood (Buffalo): Wood, in his sixth year in the league, started at center - his 67th consecutive start - for the Bills in their 23-17 loss at Houston.
