    Here’s a quick look at how Louisville natives and University of Louisville products did in Week 3 of the NFL season.

    Louisville natives

    Corey Peters (Atlanta): The fifth-year defensive tackle, Central High School graduate and former University of Kentucky standout, tallied four total tackles - including one sack - in the Falcons’ 56-14 blowout of visiting Tampa Bay on Thursday night.

    C.J. Spillman (Dallas): The sixth-year defensive back, a Central grad and former Marshall University standout, tallied one tackle in the Cowboys’ comeback 34-31 win at St. Louis. 

    Garry Williams (Carolina): The sixth-year offensive tackle, a Seneca High School grad and former UK standout, didn’t play for the second straight week in the Panthers’ 37-19 loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday night.

    Former UofL players

    Gary Barnidge (Cleveland): The tight end, who is in his seventh season, didn’t register a catch in the Browns’ 23-21 loss to Baltimore.

    Teddy Bridgewater (Minnesota): The rookie quarterback saw his first regular-season action after starter Matt Cassel went out with a toe injury. He completed 12 of 20 passes for 150 yards while also rushing six times for 27 yards in the Vikings’ 20-9 loss at New Orleans.

    Preston Brown (Buffalo): The rookie, who started at inside linebacker, tallied 11 tackles in the Bills’ 22-10 loss to visiting San Diego.

    Harry Douglas (Atlanta): The wide receiver, who is in his sixth season, had two catches for 14 yards and his first touchdown of the season in the Falcons’ 56-14 flogging of visiting Tampa Bay on Thursday night.

    Elvis Dumervil (Baltimore): The outside linebacker, who is in his ninth season, didn’t register a tackle in the Ravens’ last-second 23-21 triumph at Cleveland.

    William Gay (Pittsburgh): The cornerback, who is in his eighth season, tallied three tackles off the bench in the Steelers’ 37-19 win at Carolina on Sunday night.

    Breno Giacomini (New York Jets): Giacomini started at right tackle for the Jets in their 27-19 loss to Chicago.

    Senorise Perry (Chicago): The rookie running back didn’t have a carry, or return a kick, in the Bears’ 27-19 win at the Jets on Monday night.

    Bilal Powell (New York Jets): The fourth-year running back had two carries for 13 yards and two receptions for 6 yards in the Jets’ 27-19 loss to the Bears on Monday night.

    Calvin Pryor (New York Jets): The rookie free safety, and first-round draft pick in this past spring’s draft, tallied five tackles in the Jets’ 27-19 loss at Chicago on Monday night.

    Greg Scruggs (Seattle): The third-year defensive end was inactive in the Seahawks’ 26-20 victory over Denver.  

    Marcus Smith (Philadelphia): The rookie linebacker, who was a first-round draft pick, saw his first game action of the regular season but didn’t register a tackle in the Eagles’ 37-34 win over Washington.

    Byron Stingily (Tennessee): The fourth-year offensive tackle didn’t play in the Titans’ 33-7 loss at Cincinnati.

    Eric Wood (Buffalo): Wood, in his sixth year in the league, started at center - his 66th consecutive start - for the Bills in their 22-10 loss to San Diego.
