    Hats for Hope Silent Auction
    Print this page

Hats for hope is a non-profit organization that began in 2004, when "a handful of volunteers from KFC, YUM! Brands, INC., Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op, LLC, and Golden State Foods were looking for a way to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer".

Thus the silent auction was born, with hundreds of hats (and fascinators!), gently worn, as well as a variety of gift packages, and fabulous baskets full of goodies. Such baskets being auctioned are "Wedding Themed" valued at over $5,000 with items such as certificates to Llyods Florist, Xtreme Transportation, Splendid Events, The Gillespie and much more!

Last year Hats for Hope event raised $71,500 for breast cancer patient care through the James Graham Brown Cancer Center. Since 2004, Hats for Hope have raised $400,000.

With Derby right around the corner, do you have your, unique, one of a kind hat? Come out and take a look around!

Tickets are only $40 and can be purchased the day of the event or through Hats for Hope Facebook page.
