Since 2011, the Wheeler brothers have been honing their indie/Americana music. The brothers and band members include: Patrick Wheeler (drums and mustache), Nolan Wheeler (acoustic, electric, vocals, piano, glockenspiel, harp), Tyler Wheeler (bass guitar), and A.J. Molyneaux (electric guitar, lap steel, harmonica, vocals), Nathan Rigney (electric guitar, fiddle, vocals) and Danny Mathews (guitar). Danny talks about the band, “I think we’re constantly in a place where we’re developing our sound. We’ll always be striving to make it more our own.” The successful band earned the award “Best Roots Rock Band” at the Austin Music Awards for their album "Portraits". The Wheeler Brothers have, according to their Facebook page, a special cell phone that anyone can call. Seriously, there is a phone number.
