    Two words: musical prodigy. By the age of ten Sarah Jarosz became a master mandolinist.  By eleven the

    Texan was an expert on the clawhammer banjo and guitar. Not only is Sarah a multi-instrumentalist she is also a singer and songwriter. Her music is a hybrid of bluegrass, pop and folk - a unique melodic tune to the ears. She has two albums out: “Song Up in Her Head” (2009) and “Follow Me Down” (2011). Sarah has earned Grammy nominations in the category for Best Country Instrumental Performance, Americana Music Association nominations, and four Austin Music Awards.

     

    She as also has jammed with David Grisman, Ricky Skaggs, and the Punch Brothers. Check out her show Saturday, July 13 at 2:30pm on the Boom Stage.
