A Lion Named Roar are Louisville homeboys. ALNR’s lineup includes Chris Jackson (lead vocals), Tyler Anderson (guitar), Taylor Barton (guitar), Zach Hunter (drums) and Michael Brown (bass). And yes, the band members are even cuter than their band name. Their genre of music is categorized as western/pop and they have hypnotizing beats and amazing lyrics that will make you listen to them for hours. ALNR is described by MTV Music as a group whose “steely intensity recalls the moody rock of The National, before leaping into a high-energy chorus that's halfway between The Killers and ‘Summer of '69.’ ” If you don’t believe me about how awesome this band is, then you need to listen to their album “Foreign Land” now! I recommend the songs: “This Won’t Last For Long,” “Desert Wind,” “All I Know is Changing,” and... you know what?... Just listen to the whole album. It’s worth it!
