I don’t go to U of L or live near U of L, but I’m really happy about Cardinal Towne. It’s exciting to see the growth and changes that have occurred on campus since I lived in the old Confederate Place Apartments (now called University Tower Apartments), including the fancy dining hall that is connected to University Tower.
My daughter works at U of L and can’t hold back her excitement about the new food and dining options that are going to be available. Cardinal Towne is a housing and retail complex located at 1806 S. 3rd Street, where the old Masterson’s used to be.
Some of the retail businesses are open and others are scheduled to open soon. The restaurants include: Qdoba, Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, Papalino’s NY Pizzeria, Cluckers, Saigon One, Quills Coffee, Comfy Cow Handmade Ice Cream and Desserts, and Home Run Burgers & Fries. Yum! Head on over there and give them some business. http://www.cardinaltowne.com/ForStudents.aspx or http://www.facebook.com/CardinalTowne
