Some of Louisville's finest musical ladies will be sending 2011 out with a power packed show at Uncle Slayton's on Friday, December 30. The Troubadours of Divine Bliss and Kri N' Hettie are old friends who will be "blissing" listeners out from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. They will be joined by Mullygrub, and admission is $7.

The show will offer a sacred chance to set intention with additional treats like Sacred Shamanic Dance by Leah Robling, poetry by Aletha Fields, and Chant/ Crystal bowls by  Rev. Rae. There will also be an altar of wishes, video and art.

The Troubadours of Divine Bliss are a musical duo that reside in Indiana, but hail from the colorful town of New Orleans. Their soulfoul music enchants listeners, as they shower their loving spirits down on them. They also host the weekly "open stage for the sage" known as Church on the Rocks at the Monkey Wrench every Sunday at about 8 p.m. More information is available at their web site. They are also the founders of the local non-profit known as A Mighty Kindness

Kri N Hettie, formerly known as "the Sirens" used to host an open mic as the Soapbox Sirens. They have grown in recent years, developing a unique sound that sounds like "cabin porch hip hop". They signed with local music label MCB Records, and have released music via the MCB web site. They have been touring across America. More information and videos can be seen at their web site
