This weekend, Sunday April 4th from 11 am- 4 pm, the Louisville Zoo (1100 Trevilian Way) is hosting an Easter party to celebrate some of the most spectacular residents of the zoo, the egg-laying animals, at the Zoo’s Eggstravaganza 2010!

As part of the Zoo’s month-long Celebration of Earth (including Earth Day & Primate Awareness Day), you are invited to come out and enjoy Easter Sunday with the furriest and featheriest inhabitants of the river city!

Take part in the Easter scavenger hunt, including hidden eggs and hidden surprises, and all topped off with a visit from the Easter Bunny himself in Zoo Vision from 12- 4 PM.

Of the over 1,300 animals at the zoo, the egg-laying animals include reptiles, birds, insects and fish.

Bring a cooler and grab a picnic table to enjoy your Easter Sunday afternoon at the Louisville Zoo.

Don’t forget your camera to get pictures with the Easter Bunny and of your own bunnies and the animals at the zoo!

Adult admission is $11.95 and kids 3-11 are $8.95, while children 2 and under are free.

Parking is also free during the Eggstravaganza.
