Earth Fare is offering a healthy alternative to all of that Halloween candy

Thirty-one days of my favorite month have come and gone. November 1st is upon us: the day after Halloween. The morning when your kids are late to rise, early to grumble, and quick to ask for a piece of candy for their breakfast.

Are you one of those parents who is already tired of the candy that’s been in your house less than 24 hours? If so, you might be interested in the Trick or Trade-In at Earth Fare. All day long on November 1, you can bring all the unhealthy candies that your child worked hard to get on Halloween and trade them in for healthy snacks that you’ll feel better about them eating. Okay, maybe you don’t trade all of it in! This event sounds interesting and worth checking out just to see what kinds of healthy snacks you can grab.

Between 4-8pm, Earth Fare hosts Family Dinner Night. During this time there will be a special area designated for candy trade-in. While you rid yourselves of Halloween treats, be sure to show up in costume for the kids’ contest beginning at 6:30pm. Winners could get an Earth Fare shopper’s gift card! For more information you can call the store at 502-327-1714.

A little something else to remember: Earth Fare offers a Kid’s Eat Free night every Thursday when an adult purchases $5 worth of dinner. Sounds like a great deal to me! So check out the Trade-In, pry the candy from your kids’ sticky fingers, and get them a free meal tonight. It’s a great way to start off a new month!
