Someone's going to be an heir to a fortune, and someone is going to be murdered. Find out who did it in the Whodunnit Murder Mystery Theater production of A Well-Timed Christmas Murder, which opens Saturday.
A Well-Timed Christmas Murder performances will happen on Saturdays from Nov. 17 to Dec. 15, Friday evenings from Dec. 7-21, and as a matinee brunch show on Dec. 9. All evening shows will start at 7 p.m., and the brunch show will start at 1 p.m. All performances are to happen at the Hyatt Regency, located downtown at 320 West Jefferson Street.
Tickets for each show, which include dinner, tax, gratuity, and the show, are $45.50 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Whodunnit at 502-426-7100. More information on the show can also be found at the Whodunnit Murder Mystery Theater website.
Everyone has gathered at the estate of Rocky Barton in A Well-Timed Christmas Murder. Rocky plans to name one of the guests his sole heir. However, just as he's about to sign on the dotted line, a murder occurs. It's up to the audience to solve the murder.
In an attempt to solve the murder, audience members will have the opportunity to ask each of the guests, by now suspects, about the murder. The suspects can either tell the truth or evade the question. However, don't ask them if they are the murderer. The answer from all suspects will be no.
Niles Welch directed the production, which A.S. Waterman created. Beth Olliges served as assistant director.
Following A Well-Timed Christmas Murder, Whodunnit will present Reflections: The Masque of Death, a continuation of the Morgan Farewell series. That production will open in February. Whodunnit will finish up the 2012-13 season with Murder at the Five and Dime in the spring.
