Whether you’re an amateur film critic, a punk rock groupie or a devoted patron of the fine theater arts, Louisville offers entertainment for everyone. With a wide variety of performance venues ranging from the KFC Yum! Center - designed to comfortably accommodate more than 22,000 guests - all the way to the fairly new Mercury Ballroom with the capacity to hold a little under 1000 people, this city has it all. And starting this November, the Bristol Bar & Grille in Downtown Louisville will once again become the venue for a set of performances unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Last month, the murder mystery theater group WhoDunnit announced that the popular restaurant would showcase its 2015-2016 season beginning November 14, performing the original hilarious holiday-themed “The Nutcracker-Sweet Murders.” This first live show of the season promises to be full of audience interaction and is sure to be unforgettable night of entertainment.

And if you’re more of an actor than a spectator, now is your chance to get involved with Louisville’s murder mystery team! The Bristol Bar & Grille will host auditions for WhoDunnit’s upcoming season Sunday, August 23 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Those participating can audition for any of the three plays included in WhoDunnit’s upcoming season. Each audition will consist of a cold reading from a WhoDunnit script. A headshot and resume will be appreciated, but are not required. You must be at least 17 years old to participate.

Here’s the schedule for the new season:

    “The Nutcracker-Sweet Murders”
    Every Saturday night from November 14, 2015 – January 9, 2016

    “The Mystery at Raven Hall”
    Every Saturday night from February 13, 2016 – April 2, 2016

“The Case of the Smokin’ Gunn”
    Every Saturday night from May 14, 2016 – June 25, 2016

Tickets for “The Nutcracker-Sweet Murders” are now available for purchase. Individual tickets for a table of two to four guests are $48 each and $46 each for a table of six or more guests. Each ticket includes cost of the performance, dinner, tax and gratuity. The delicious dinner choices include roast turkey, tarragon salmon or grilled Portobello, all prepared by the Bristol’s talented chefs.

The Bristol Bar & Grille is located at 614 West Main Street. For more information and to make a reservation, visit WhoDunnit’s website.
