    Citizen Bourbon Ambassador Training

Remember that four part series I did a while back about the process of becoming a Citizen Bourbon Ambassador?  In

part I, I talked about the different ways in which you can learn about bourbon, from following

    bourbonblog.com

to taking a bourbon education class at

    Haymarket

    Whiskey Bar.  In

part II, I talked about trying new bourbons at events and festivals, such as

    The Kentucky Bourbon Festival

    and

    the Legends Series.  In

Part III, I talked about touring distilleries, and in

Part IV, I talked about bourbon as a food group (see my Bourbon Soaked Easter Dinner menu

    here).

Well, now it's Derby time in Louisville, and if you haven't started your Citizen Bourbon Ambassador training yet, there's no time like the present.  Here's an

    infographic

from Maker's Mark about the basics of bourbon-what makes it bourbon and not whiskey.  This is the perfect starting point for your bourbon education.
