Food with a dash of Middle Eastern culture, unique local artwork, flavorful hookahs, varieties of music, and internet access can all be found at one place: Café 360.

Café 360 is a restaurant located on 1582 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40205 in the heart of the highlands. It has been a hot-spot for locals to patronize for years because it is one the few restaurants in Louisville which can still allow its patrons to smoke inside, hookah that is. Hookahs (flavored tobacco water pipes) are served in many flavors at Café 360—ranging from tropical fruit to coffee, or any other flavor you can surmise—and can be smoked between groups of up to eight people. Cigarette smokers, however, are still required to smoke outside.

Though Café 360 specializes in their large variety of hookahs, they also offer Middle  Eastern, Mediterranean, and American style food. They even offer vegetarian and vegan dishes for those on meat-free diets. Café 360 also provides a full bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Food at Café 360 ranges from 2 dollars to about 20 dollars, and hookahs cost about 14 dollars or more dependent upon the flavor.

Eclectic artwork from Louisville-metro artists is always on display throughout the restaurant, which can be bought by interested customers. However, artwork doesn’t just cover the dining room it also covers the restrooms! Many patrons have chosen to write on the bathroom walls with markers. Most choose to write their name and the date; however, many others have chosen to write quirky quotes, poems, and jokes, much to the entertainment of those facilitating the restroom.

On this particular visit, I chose to dine on honey chicken with a cherry hookah and a Bud light. Per usual, my meal was decadent and perfectly seasoned and glazed to perfection. Not to mention, my hookah was decadently smooth and full of aroma. The food at Café 360 is sure not to disappoint, and you may be surprised to find you quite enjoy food from other cultures such as bruschetta or summer rolls. However, if you are hesitant to expand your taste buds, Café 360 also offers American food such as hamburgers, fries, chips with queso, and salads.

Café 360 is a restaurant with its own unique culture. Locals know when they go here, they are sure to have a good time. It is the perfect blend of Louisville’s culture and Middle Eastern style. It’s also a great place to meet up with friends, grab some delicious food and drinks, smoke hookahs, and relax. The next time you’re looking for somewhere to eat and want to deviate from the norm, be sure to check out one of the more unique restaurants of Louisville: Café 360.
