Mediterranean cuisine and hookah: Yafa Café [Food & dining]
    Print this page

Whether it’s lunchtime on a busy weekday or a laid-back Saturday night with some friends, Yafa café is the perfect place to be. Located on 4th street in Theatre Square, Yafa café serves Mediterranean food as well as hookahs in many flavors!

The café has a homey environment where the servers are extremely friendly, helpful, and quick. If there is nothing special to do on a weekend, my friends and I head over to Yafa. Needless to say, I have been there plenty of times. The shawarma sandwiches are an all-time favorite. However, being vegetarian I have many options to pick from as well, ranging from falafel sandwiches to grape leaves to delicious hummus and pita bread. Additionally, there are a variety of non-alcoholic drinks offered, and the prices are extremely reasonable.

With fruity flavors as well as minty, the hookahs taste wonderful, and if there is something wrong, they will gladly replace it. The hookah definitely adds on to the great food; however, it is the set up that makes it my favorite place to be. With an outside sitting area, it is perfect for warm summer nights. It also has an inside, non-smoking sitting area if that is more desirable.

If you are a hookah-lover or just looking for a new place to try out, Yafa is the place to go!
