What’s the best and arguable only cure for that regrettable booming hangover you inevitably wake up to every Sunday morning? Sunday brunch, of course. And what’s better than a brunch menu forcing you to decide between your favorite breakfast and lunch combinations? A brunch buffet, no doubt.

So for those who hate hangovers almost as much as they hate making menu decisions, this list of Louisville’s best Sunday brunch buffets will not disappoint.

    Ramsi’s Café on the World
    1293 Bardstown Road

While this classic Highlands buffet offers plenty of delicious brunch options for every kind of diet, it is perhaps most appreciated by Louisville’s vegan and vegetarian community. Crispy thick bacon, savory sausage patties, scrambled eggs, fried ham and creamy tortellini can all be found on the buffet table along with Ramsi’s original tofu scramble, smoky black bean patties, vegetable potstickers, fried potatoes and Asian vegetable stir fry, making this a brunch haven for meat-free lifestyles. Plenty of fruit, an omelet bar, French toast and an entire table of desserts are also included in this buffet costing $16.99 for adults and $6.99 for children.

    Goose Creek Diner
    2923 Goose Creek Road

Dining with children can certainly be difficult, especially when you’ve got a craving for something savory and the little ones are nursing a sweet tooth. Luckily, Goose Creek Diner’s brunch buffet supports both of these flavors with its mouth-watering layout including baby back ribs, freshly roasted vegetables, juicy sausage, scrambled eggs, tossed salad and made-to-order stuffed French toast. At $13.99 for adults and $7.99 for children, everyone will be happy with this brunch decision.

    Bristol Bar & Grille
4 Louisville Locations, 1 Jeffersonville, IN Location

With so many locations, this is undeniably one of the most convenient brunches in the city. And with a spread of American breakfast and lunch classics like crunchy bacon, thick sausage, fried chicken wings, steamed asparagus, leafy green salad, flaky biscuits, deliciously creamy mashed potatoes, flavorful grits, giant Belgian waffles and the Bristol's original recipe pecan pie at $15.99 per person, it's also one of the most irresistible brunches in the city as well.

    Highlands Taproom Grill
    1058 Bardstown Road

    Image: Yelp

Chances are you opened a tab at the Highlands Taproom on Saturday night. And after ordering a few cocktails, you probably forgot to close out that tab and get your debit card before your Uber driver took you home. So when you go back on Sunday morning to retrieve it, why not stay for brunch? This neighborhood bar offers a variety of hearty breakfast and lunchtime favorites, perfect for curing the hangover that all started at the same bar. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, thick slices of ham, juicy sausage links, fried zucchini, roasted potatoes, baked beans and spinach salad are all included. The $12 price of the buffet and the bar's Sunday happy hour are both worth keeping your tab open.

    Captain’s Quarters Riverside Grille
    5700 Captain’s Quarters Road, Prospect

If you’re in the mood for both a homestyle country dinner and your childhood breakfast favorites, this is the place for you. On this impressive brunch spread, you’ll find everything from breakfast staples like made-to-order Belgian waffles, a fresh omelet bar, southern biscuits and gravy, fluffy scrambled eggs and hearty sausage links to dinnertime classics like fried chicken, freshly carved roast beef, perfectly seasoned red potatoes and plenty of extra sweet desserts. And located right on the Ohio River, this dining experience offers a beautiful view of the city’s natural side from either a table indoors or outdoors. The all-you-can-eat buffet costs $18.95 for adults and $9.95 for children.
