Tonight and Saturday morning Louisvillians will have a chance to mingle with master beekeeper and biodynamic gardener Gunther Hauk. Tonight at 7pm, the evening of April Fools, Gunther Hauk will be present to discuss the global plight of the honeybees and beekeepers following the film screening of Queen of the Sun: What are the Bees Telling Us? in which he is featured.

The second event takes place tomorrow morning, April 2, beginning at 9a.m and ending at noon. Gunther Hauk will put on a workshop with intent to inspire and share insights on sustainable beekeeping. Both events occur at The Foxhollow Farm Center.

In exchange for this extraordinary opportunity, participants are encouraged to donate $50 at each event. All proceeds go to Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary where Gunther Hauk, founder and director, practices beekeeping with intent of bettering the future health of honeybees.
