Come and get dirty for good with Breaking New Grounds tomorrow (June 11th) from 9am to 12pm. They're needing volunteers that are up for playing with dirt, worms, or hoops (hoop houses). Come help maintain their community garden at 2105 Woodland Avenue (22nd and Woodland)!

Then the following Saturday (June 18th) Magnificent Mushroom's Eric Osbourne will be putting on a workshop, 9am to 12pm, with Breaking New Grounds on the goodness of shrooms: Mycelium Madness! Osbourne will cover a variety of mushrooms, their health and environmental benefits, how to grow your own, and how to landscape with them. Workshop participants will leave with information and logs bearing Shitake and Lions Mane. It costs $75 to attend and there are only twenty slots available, but expect them to fill fast! Mycelium Mushroom Madness also takes place at 2105 Woodland Avenue--the homebase of Breaking New Grounds.
