Local artist Andy Cook's provocative work makes his showing at The Bodega at Felicea a must-see on this Friday's Trolley Hop.

This display will contain a combination of older obscure pieces mixed with fresh new works on display for the first time. With mediums ranging from metal to acrylic to ballpoint pen to oil you are bound to find a piece that will speak to you (probably saying "take me home").

Cook has been producing art for the past 30 years, and showcasing his work in a variety of venues such as ECC, Oscar Browns, Green House, The Starving Artist, Lava House, LVAA, 640 Gallery, Art 227, 60 West Bistro and Martini Bar, Higgins Maxwell Gallery. He also regularly shows his work at the Bodega (First Friday Trolley Hop) and the Monkey Wrench where he curates group and solo shows for local artists.

From his relief metal sculptures, to his warm oil color paintings, Cook’s style is both distinct and fluid. He strives to make the abstract more concrete by visually conveying and channeling ideas that serve as mile markers in time.
