    Book lovers: find a book sale, hunt for bargains, or get involved in book-centered events that are happening around Louisville and Southern Indiana.

    Saturday, June 21 9am-1pm - Friends of the Library of New Albany-Floyd County Library Book Sale at the Library’s Annex Building.

    Details:  $1.00 for hardbacks; $0.50 for videos, DVDs and paperbacks; $0.25 for audio book cassette tapes; and $0.10 for magazines and music cassette tapes.  Children’s books will be $1.00 or less.  Located at 180 West Spring Street in New Albany. See the website for more information.

    Saturday, June 21 9am-12pm - Book donation day for Louisville Free Public Library and The Library Foundation.

    Bring your books to donate for upcoming Friends of the Library book sales to the Main Library. Located at 301 York Street. See the website for more information.

    June is Reading and Writing Month at Louisville Free Public Library

                    Events include movie and book discussion groups, adult book groups, children’s book events, and writing workshops. See the website for more information.

    Sunday, June 29 10am-4:30pm - Summer Antiques Market at Locust Grove

                    A huge antiques market with numerous items for sale including furniture, jewelry, as well as antiquarian books and books about antiques, design, and collecting. See the website for more information.

    Friday, July 4 – Sunday, July 6 - The Flea Off Market

                    The Flea Off Market is a huge outdoor flea market located near the heart of downtown right off of Market Street. It is held once a month and features dozens of vendors selling anything and everything, including used books! See their Facebook page for more information.

    Sunday, July 13 12pm-5pm - Southwest Friends of the Library Book Sale at Riverside Farnsley-Moremen Landing
