    Find out what's going on this month at the Louisville Free Public Library. Try a new recipe or cooking style this coming month at your favorite literary stomping ground in Louisville.


    Each month, the Louisville Free Public Library incorporates some sort of theme into their widely popular and free programming. In November the focus is on Recipes and Cooking. Read on to find out where you can attend some programming to up your cuisine skills and learn culinary tips and tricks in the kitchen.

    As part of the Louisville Free Public Library’s Cooking Month, more than 35 food-related programs will be held at library locations across Louisville in November.  Cooking Month at the Library includes a wide variety of practical, educational, and creative programs and workshops for both children and adults, ranging from how to preserve and can food to healthy holiday eating to family recipe swaps and more. There are other events all month long and some branches are hosting All Day Events throughout November. These include Community Cookbook, Culinary Mysteries, and Holiday Recipe Swap. This November leading up to all of the holidays and festivities, try your hand at one of these free classes and workshops to find a new recipe or something to share with family and friends!
