From "Come Together through "Her Majesty," the members of Vinylicious (Greg Foresman, Eric Whorton, Bob Ramsey, Michael Webb, Aaron Montgomery and Tim Halcomb) were spot on in their efforts to recreate what many would call a musical masterpiece.

More than 10 singers also took part in the reproduction of Abbey Road and each added a certain style and flare to their respective songs, but the members of Vinylicious time and time again stole the spot light with their immaculate playing, sticking true to the albums and parts written by John, Paul, George and Ringo (and George Martin). Vinylicious2.jpg While VInylicious and the many singers were able to almost flawlessly recreate the classic album in front of a thickened Headliner's crowd, some performances took the cake. The party really got started with Marilyn Kington's version of "Oh!, Darling."

Andy Brown, Chris Hawpe, Mike Murphy, Herlon Robinson, Dewey Kincade, Jimmy Gardner, John Mann, Jimi V, Danny Flanigan and Jim Schweikart lent their voices on songs throughout the evening, but the highlight of the night seemed to be during the second set (which was composed of non-Abbey Road songs), when Peter Searcy sang, "We Can Work it Out." He was able to turn the hundreds of attendees into his own personal back-up chorus and it sounded beautiful. Vinylicious1.jpg Check out the video of Peter's performance here.

With that said, hat's off to the performers of Vinylicious's reproduction of Abbey Road. The concert was supposed to be the first of many more Vinylicious performances that will lend themselves to other classic albums. Photos: Hunter Embry
