    Louisville will host the United States Australian Football League’s 2010 National Tournament this Saturday and Sunday at Louisville Champions Park on River Road. The event will attract more than 1,000 players, officials and coaches and feature 32 men’s teams and six women’s teams. Play will run simultaneously from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. both days on five different fields at the park. The Division I final is set for 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

    Get a sneak peek at the brand new KFC Yum! Center and the 2010-11 University of Louisville men’s basketball team in a Red-White scrimmage at 2 p.m. Oct. 24. Tickets will be just $5. They go on sale beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday at both UofL tickets offices - one located on the third floor of the Swain Student Activities Center and the second near Gate 2 of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Floyd Street.

    Five Louisville-area fighters won matches Bellator 30 - the mixed martial art event put on by Bellator Fighting Championships - including Louisville’s Brent Weedman in one of the main-card matches. Other area winners included Ron “The Monster” Sparks, Mike O’Donnell, B.J. Ferguson and John Troyer.

    Bellator Fighting Championships, a mixed-martial arts organization, is visiting Louisville for the second time this year. Bellator 30 will take place Thursday night at Fourth Street Live! Several Louisville-area fighters will be featured on the local card, while one will compete on the main card. Doors open at 5 p.m. and fighting begins at 6 p.m.

    Next-door neighbors Churchill Downs and the University of Louisville are teaming up for special ticket package called “Pigskins & Ponies Presented by Kroger” for the second weekend in November. For $25 fans will receive a seat in the new upper deck of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium for UofL’s Nov. 13 football game against South Florida and a reserved seat on Millionaires Row or Skye Terrace at the Downs for horse racing the next day.
