What happens at Tuxes and Tails, stays at Tuxes and Tails except this article on Louisville.com. The Kentucky Humane Society hosted their Tuxes & Tails Benefit Gala and Auction on August 27, 2011 at The Galthouse in Downtown Louisville. The event was presented by Brown-Forman.
All of the proceeds benefit the animals of the Kentucky Human Society and their life saving mission. The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) advocates the humane treatment of companion animals through leadership and proactive solutions to pet overpopulation, including adoptions, education and spay/neuter efforts.
The event was beautiful and fun was all around; dogs & puppies, auction items and prominent community figures were all around in the fabulous Las Vegas themed atmosphere. From Patti Swope to Mayor Greg Fischer, the event was full of Louisville leaders supporting this great cause.
The Committee Chair for the event was Karen Krinock. The Committee was full of local women and men that donated their time so generously; Hanna Benjamin, Jennifer Archie, Fran Callaway, Kevin Chlarson, Tara Clayton, Melissa Cline, Kelly Douglas, Christie Dutton, Cynthia Fackler, Leslee Heitz, Kate Hendon, Rachel Hungerbuhler, Karen Krinock, Sarah Lee, Stephanie Luckett, Melissa McClure, Stephanie Moore, Sandee Schulwolf, Kim Ulrich and Allison Woosley.
