Come experience Vegas-style entertainment and fun at Vegas in the ‘Ville on Saturday, September 24, 2011. Festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. for Texas Hold ’em Registration and the party begins at 6:00 p.m. Vegas in the ‘Ville is a charitable gaming fundraiser to benefit Whitehall House and Garden, which began in 2007 and founded by Jason Walters.

This popular event will feature Vegas-style games that are played for real money with chips, tables and entertainment. They invite all to come and experience the Texas Hold ’em tournament with beautiful showgirls, dazzling hostesses, delicious upscale delights by Austin’s Restaurant, thirst-quenching specialty cocktails and an exclusive silent auction.

The theme this year is “Rio Carni-ville”. New to this year’s event, they will celebrate Rio de Janeiro’s world famous Carnival festival with Samba dancing, fire spinners and colorful costumed servers. Dress-code is suggested with two options; one is to dress according to the theme or dress to impress “Country Club” style.

For guests interested in playing some serious poker, registration for Texas Hold ‘em will begin at 5:00 p.m., and the tournament will run from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00  p.m. Texas Hold ‘em registration is $125/person and includes a $100 buy-in and general Casino Night admission. A special upgraded Texas Hold ‘em VIP Access registration is also available for $180/person and includes a $100 buy-in, VIP amenities and status. General admission for access to all the gaming tables and entertainment is $30.00.

To purchase tickets or register for the Texas Hold ’em tournament, please visit www.VegasInTheVille.com/registrations.htm or call the Whitehall office at (502)897-2944.

Proceeds from Vegas in the ‘Ville benefit Whitehall House and Gardens; a historic home owned and operated by the not-for-profit Historic Homes Foundation. Originally built in the mid-1850s as an Italianate farmhouse, the house was transformed in 1909 into the iconic Classical style mansion we know today that epitomizes the stately beauty of early 20th century architecture. At just under ten acres, Whitehall’s grounds offer the public multiple special gardens that are a horticultural treasure to the community. About Bella Portaro

Happiness Cultivator. Blogger. Writer. Social Media and PR Maven. Dreamer. Louisville Lover. Blogger at Bella of Louisville; a lifestyle blog. A lifestyle is- by definition to me - the way in which one chooses to live their life. As I’ve entered into this chapter / book of my life with a strong understanding of who I am, lifestyle has become about the art of living well. This idea goes beyond creating a beautiful home and investing in my wardrobe. Living well means being kind, being good company, contributing to your community, and becoming a person of substance and grace. If designing a life full of substance and grace isn’t aspirational, I don’t know what else is. I love writing about events and things to do in Louisville. I hope you enjoy my posts and connect with me on social media!
