Ever since I got married, I've had a hard time creating Christmas cards, on account of my wife shooting down all of my ideas for being racist, so I probably could use this workshop. The museum staff will guide you through designing holiday cards and adding messages in Braille. The workshop is free, but registration is required (call 502-899-2365).

The owner of the New Albanian Brewing Company, Roger Baylor, is teaching this two-hour class on porters, which will be paired with tastings of two of them from New Albanian. If you go, please ask Baylor why porters are tasty, but not as good as stouts. The class is $4, which includes a 4-ounce sample of each porter, some cheese and Blue Dog bread.
