Halloween is one of those low-pressure holidays everyone seems to love. How hard can it be to slap on an ironic or sexy or cute costume, overindulge in candy and bourbon, and participate in pleasantly spooky actives?
One such pleasantly spooky activity: the Filson Historical Society's Fright Night. Set to occur on Thursday, October 30 from 7 - 9 p.m. at 1310 South Third Street, Fright Night will be an evening of full of ghost stories, macabre artifacts and images from the Filson's collection, tarot card readings, and a "boo-ffet" of treats.
There will be punch concocted by the mixologists of Limestone Branch Distillery, and other libations provided by Brown-Forman, as well as musical performances by Dane Waters and Jonathan Wood. Louisville.com is giving you a chance to win two tickets to this spooktacular event!
