Upcoming Filson Events At Oxmoor Farm
    Print this page

The next Filson Bourbon Salon at Oxmoor is a repeat of January’s Remembering Stitzel-Weller discussion.  The January session was sold out and had more people on the waitlist than there were tickets available, so they decided to hold the event again.  Now this event is sold out, and there is waitlist room available.  There’s a chance if you add your name to the waitlist they could hold it again, so click here to add your name.

On May 8, The Filson will host The Blind Tiger at Oxmoor Farm: Prohibition Era Cocktails with Molly Wellmann.  The name of the event reflects one of the methods bar owners used during Prohibition to get around the law: you pay admission to see an attraction and they serve you a “free” drink.  Molly Wellmann is an absolute delight, so if you’re in to gin cocktails at all you’ll want to check this event out.  Tickets are limited, so click here for details.

On May 14 The Bourbon Women will partner with The Filson to host Distill-Her, a discussion at the Oxmoor Farm Library moderated by Fred Minnick.  Guests will include Marianne Barnes, Master Distiller of Old Taylor Distillery, Betsy Bulleit of Bulleit Bourbon, and Sally Van Winkle Campbell.  The discussion will be all about prominent women in the bourbon industry, a topic that always generates never-ending conversation.  Tickets are extremely limited already, so click here for more information.

No matter the topic, The Filson always generates great conversation.  If you still haven’t been to a Filson event, now is the time.
