Do you like bourbon and heart health?  Sure, who doesn’t.  February is National Heart Month, during which the American Heart Association promotes awareness of women’s heart health issues through their Go Red For Women campaign.  To help raise money and awareness, the Kentucky Whisky Chicks are hosting Whisky Chicks Go Red on February 18 at Saint’s Pizza Pub in St. Matthews.  So don your best red frock and head out to try some Redemption Rye and raise money for heart health.

According to the event page, “We would like to join forces and invite you to attend our next KY Whisky Chicks event at Saints Pizza and Pub thanks to Jennifer Jarvis.  We are hoping to support the Go Red campaign for the month of the American Heart Association by wearing red and donating $10 per person.  Redemption Rye will be hosting the tasting for us and Saints Bar is donating their Skybar space and small bites.”

The Kentucky Whisky Chicks was founded on the idea that women who love bourbon and whiskey should be able to get together and socialize with other women who love bourbon and whiskey, without jobs, kids, and spouses.  All you need to do is show up and you will meet a great group of women who would love to chat about anything and everything, but most especially bourbon.  And nothing is better for your heart health than taking a break and relaxing with your friends once in a while.

Check out the event page for more information.
