Louisville is positively littered with blown-glass studios. I’m not sure why, but it creates a pretty competitive environment for hands-on workshops for the rest of us. Especially this time of year, just about all of them invite you to come learn about glass blowing and create your own handmade ornament to take home or give as a gift. Take your friends, your family, or get your coworkers together for some bonding in a super-warm place while it’s blowing and cold outside. These Louisville studios are all offering ornament making this year.

    About Kachina Shaw

A transplanted Hawkeye, I've now lived in Louisville longer than any other city. Can't live without: my husband and fur babies, coal-black coffee, peanut M&Ms, sunflowers, monthly vacations, books, walking paths, massage and a big purse.
