Liberty Tattoo and Art Parlor is having their third annual "Under $50" art sale, running fro November 15 through December 30.

The show features 25 + local and regional artists with pieces that cost $50 or under. The works include paintings, assemblage, pottery, clay sculpture, glass sculpture, tunnel books, screen printing, and more.

The Tattoo and art parlor will be having a kick off holiday party on Saturday, November 26 from 5 to 9 p.m.  There will be refreshments, give-aways and "other goodies". The party will also be a great chance to meet some of their artists. They parlor is also accepting non-perishable food items for a local food bank through December 22 and will be giving away a tattoo gift certificate by drawing from those who donate the food items.

The under $50 art show usually brings in a lot of folks," said co-owner Suzanne Edds. "It’s awesome. In order for the artists to participate in this show, they have two options: they can donate $20 to the Center for women and families, or we take 30% commission on sales, which will be donated to Center for Women and Families.”

Liberty Tattoo and Art Parlor (LTAP) is owned and operated by local artists Suzanne Edds & Gary Bell. They were already doing tattoos, art, and screen printing at local table shows without a web presence or storefront. They thought it made sense to have it all under one roof and created their own space, so they would have a central location for their work. The art gallery space rotates bi-monthly, featuring local and regional artworks of all mediums. LTAP also offers custom tattooing and is  home to Liberty Press, a screen-printing operation founded by Edds & Bell in 2004. They are located at 2801 S 3rd St and can be found online at www.libertytattooandart.com. They are open Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and can be reached at 502-637-4777.
