T-Claw Returns with Fiddle Pie to Third Thursday HoedownThe Third Thursday Hoedown in Germantown returns June 19, graced by the man who started it all himself, the man who, along with his old time band Fiddle Pie, swings by Louisville on their summer Biscuit Country Tour. T-Claw calls square dances all over the country with an upbeat style that is just as appealing to seasoned dancers as it is to beginners. This monthly social event is open to all ages and all levels of experience. All dances are taught, and no one is required to dance. There's always a partner to be found on the dance floor, and there is no dress code, though one’s twirliest skirt is recommended. Doors open at 7, with a beginner’s square dance workshop at 7:30, and dancing will take place from 8-10:30, featuring predominantly simple and traditional southern figures. Guests may dance as many or as few as they like, and anyone can dance with anyone regardless of gender.
