    Just because St. Patrick’s Day is on a Thursday this year doesn’t mean that it’s any less lively in Louisville. Here are just some of the upcoming events that you can find around town.

    1. St. Patrick’s Day Parade
    Join the BSCC as they present one of the finest motorized units of 20 British Cars in the annual parade. They arrive early to their designated assembly spot to socialize with all the other units. Then, onto the parade and dinner afterwards.

    2. Dance Party by Dance Louisville
    Grab anything green, your dance shoes and perhaps a pot of gold! Get ready for one heck of a night of dancing! East Coast Swing Lesson at 8:30 p.m., dance party at 9 p.m. Go for a fun mix of Ballroom, Latin, Country, and Swing dancing! They will be playing anything from Cha Cha, Rumba, Two Step, East and West Coast Swing, Waltz, and Foxtrot music as well as much, much more!

    3. Carmichael’s Kids
    Their regular Thursday story-time is sure to be filled with leprechauns and pots of gold. Go to  Carmichael's Kids for St. Patrick's Day crafts, snacks, and activities all day!

    4. Fleet Feet Sports & Great Flood Brewing Scavenger Hunt Fun Run
    Meet at Fleet Feet to break up into teams of 4-5. Come as a team, or show up early as an individual and they'll find a team for you. Each team has one hour to capture as many of the pre-planned images as possible (limit one phone/camera per team). The winning team will win gift cards and merchandise. Enjoy $1-off Great Flood Brewing Beers afterwards!

    7. Blind Irish Whiskey Tasting at Westport Whiskey and Wine
    Too old to drink green beer and to fall & crawl from pub to pub? Well, there may be an alternative to help you celebrate the holiday. Westport Whiskey and Wine will be offering a tasting of Irish whisky, and they will do it blind, just to make it a bit more interesting. Plus, there will be a mute big screen to keep abreast of any ball games. Space is limited, so please make reservations in advance.

    8. Howl at the Moon Extravaganza

    10. Beefsteak, Bourbon, and Basketball
    Louisville’s Galt House Hotel, the Heart of Louisville, is introducing the new Beefsteak, Bourbon, and Basketball watch party just in time for all of the basketball madness! Enjoy the tournament games on the big screens, unlimited beefsteak & bourbon, and an outdoor patio with cigar lounge & more! A portion of the proceeds will benefit Blessings in a Backpack charity.

    While it’s not necessarily a St. Patrick’s Day-themed event, you can still celebrate the luck of the Irish and leprechauns with Cleveland’s Bone Thugs - N – Harmony in the River City.  That kind of counts, right?
