Obviously today is Valentine's Day. We won't inundate you with Vday suggestions (you've probably already got plans, or are upset you don't have plans, or are really happy to not have plans) but if you need them this late you're probably already in trouble. Here's where to go and what to do this weekend:
Friday: Dance Through the Decades
Instead of your saccharine school-dance punch, you can drink bourbon on the rocks at this soiree. Things get better with time, right? Inspired by the tradition of the school social, each hour will feature music billowing out of the school gymnasium or cafeteria from a different decade - starting at 5 p.m. with the '50s for happy hour, through the '90s at 9 p.m. This is a free event to enjoy before or after your V-Day plans. There will be double shot specials for couples, and even better single specials for singles.

Saturday: Pleased to Meet Me Premiere at The Kentucky Center for the Arts
Kentucky is a place we know and love to call home. Our state is one of rich beauty, breathtaking landscapes and warm, friendly people. In the summer of 2012, an uncommon cast of characters made Louisville their temporary, Kentucky home. You may have seen them around. They came to make the feature film Pleased to Meet Me. And now, after a successful sold-out premiere in NYC and the signing of a North American distribution deal, Pleased to Meet Me is coming back to Louisville for a two-night premiere event.
