    Need to know where to go and what to do this weekend at the

    St. James Court Art Show

    ? We got you covered...

    , marks the five-decade-strong, weekend-long art show, us

    Louisvillians

    look forward to for every year. With over 750 artists from North America, delicious food vendors, and live music, there is sure to be something for everyone (except your four-legged friends) on Friday & Saturday from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

    Along with artisan booths, food, and music, there are a few new additions to the 2014 show, including

    Lundy’s

    at the

    Olmstead

    Tavern, St. James Tasting Experience at the Garden,

    Garvin

    Gate Blues Festival, and Kentucky Shakespeare Performances in the Central Park Amphitheatre.

    Lets begin with parking…if you don’t want to bother with the hassle of finding your own spot, then do one of these two options:

    1. “PARC it * TARC it * ART it” Get it? PARC at Brown Garage (658 S. Third St.), take the TARC to 2nd and Hill Streets for $6, and ART as long as you please. TARC service begins at 9 a.m. and runs every 10 minutes throughout the day.

    2. Parking & Shuttle Service at JCTC parking lot

    The JCTC (Jefferson Community & Technical College) parking lot is available for hundreds of any sized vehicles. Park and take a shuttle, which will run continuously throughout the day, for $10 (includes parking & shuttle service). Drop-off and on is a half block from the Art Show.

    Once you’ve finally arrived, it’s time to get shoppin’. Whether you’re looking for crafts, jewelry, photography, or clothing, all of the booths and their locations can be found

    All that shopping has got you hungry? St. James Court Art Show is the perfect lunch, snack, or dinner destination. With vendors like Heine Brothers, Sweet Shoppe Fudge, Pacific Rim Noodles, and Jakes Crab Cakes, you can find something for everyone and for every craving. Find a list of the food and drink vendors

    Feelin’ a little Shakespeare in the Park? From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Friday-Sunday, Kentucky Shakespeare will have free performances at the C. Douglas

    Ramey

    Amphitheatre in Central Park.

    Before heading down to St. James Court Art Show, be sure to check the weather. There is a chance of rain for Friday and Saturday, but hopefully this beautiful weather will continue into the weekend. Rain or shine, the show will go on.
