Need to know where to go and what to do this weekend at the

St. James Court Art Show

[4]

? We got you covered...

This Friday, Oct.

3rd

, marks the five-decade-strong, weekend-long art show, us

Louisvillians

look forward to for every year. With over 750 artists from North America, delicious food vendors, and live music, there is sure to be something for everyone (except your four-legged friends) on Friday & Saturday from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Along with artisan booths, food, and music, there are a few new additions to the 2014 show, including

Lundy’s

Olmstead

Tavern, St. James Tasting Experience at the Garden,

Garvin

Gate Blues Festival, and Kentucky Shakespeare Performances in the Central Park Amphitheatre.

Lets begin with parking…if you don’t want to bother with the hassle of finding your own spot, then do one of these two options:

  1. “PARC it * TARC it * ART it” Get it? PARC at Brown Garage (658 S. Third St.), take the TARC to 2nd and Hill Streets for $6, and ART as long as you please. TARC service begins at 9 a.m. and runs every 10 minutes throughout the day.

  2. Parking & Shuttle Service at JCTC parking lot

The JCTC (Jefferson Community & Technical College) parking lot is available for hundreds of any sized vehicles. Park and take a shuttle, which will run continuously throughout the day, for $10 (includes parking & shuttle service). Drop-off and on is a half block from the Art Show.
