    V-GRITS Launch Party at the Monkey Wrench
    It's party time! This is an open event at the Monkey Wrench (1025 Barret Ave, Louisville), so bring and invite everyone you know! It's also kid-friendly. Because of the frigid weather, we'll be cooking and serving out of the Monkey Wrench kitchen. We don't want you guys standing out in the cold for your food! Starting at 6pm we’ll be serving Hot Brown Melts, Crab Poppers, BBQ Sliders, and Loaded Mac! Sides will include V-Grits Roasted Garlic Cheese Grits, Green & Beans, Mac & Cheese, and Cole Slaw. Annnnd… The first 50 GRITS grubbers will receive a really cool gift! A random 5 of those will get free food vouchers for the truck! Stay and hang out, and listen to Violet Knives!

    Master Distiller Dinner at Down One Bourbon Bar
    Down One Bourbon Bar and Restaurant is kicking off a night to remember with a four-course dinner with cocktail pairings, including a tasting of the Rare Abraham Bowman Vanilla Bourbon and a discussion with the Master Distiller of Bowman Brothers, Brian Prewitt.

    Tailspin Ale Fest 2015: Louisville's Winter Warmer
    Tailspin Ale Fest warms Louisville with 150 craft beers and a new night for barrel-aged ales, bourbons & spirits! Last February, Louisville wholeheartedly embraced the celebration of craft beer with more than 2,500 patrons who raised their glasses to toast the city’s inaugural Tailspin Ale Fest, held in a revived WWII-era airplane hangar at Bowman Field. The Fest was such a rousing success that it has been expanded over two days this year!
    Tailspin’s Barrel Roll (New for 2015) – Feb. 20 from 7 – 10 p.m.
    Only 1,000 tickets will be sold to Friday’s VIP event. Prices range from $25 (Designated Driver) to $85, and highlights include:
    • Limited-edition, barrel-aged beers, bourbons and craft cocktails
    • Mingling with brewers, brewery representatives, and industry experts
    • Gourmet tapas from Mussel & Burger Bar, El Taco Luchador, CENA, and Guaca Mole
    • National recording artists out of Brooklyn and New Orleans, the Pimps of Joytime, will perform soulful music on stage, and
    • Professional photos, as well as a photo booth for candid memories with friends
    Tailspin Ale Fest – Feb. 21 from 3 – 7 p.m. with VIP entry at 2 p.m.
    Tickets to the Tailspin Ale Fest are $15 (Designated Driver), $45 (General Admission) and $75 (VIP with early entrance). A sold-out crowd is expected again this year, and the fest features:
    • More than 150 craft beers for sampling
    • Well-rounded varieties from 40 breweries across the U.S. (12 from Kentucky alone)
    • Brewery representatives on-site and talking about their beers
    • Lively Bluegrass music on stage and a photo booth for all to enjoy
    • Colorful biplane display and a Kentucky Heritage Section
    • One-of-a-kind raffle with 100 percent of sales going to the local Dare to Care Food Bank
    • Souvenir tasting glass and a 64-ounce glass growler for all paid attendees, and
    • Food from a wide selection of local food trucks/vendors available for purchase

    The Young Breast Cancer Survivors Benefit and Celebration
    Young Survivors breast cancer support group through the Norton Cancer Institute and Norton Healthcare Foundation.The benefit is an evening with music by Mick Sullivan and refreshments, as well as raffles featuring vacation, spa and dining packages. The proceeds benefit the Norton Cancer Institute Breast Health Program, which offers special services for young breast cancer survivors such as financial counseling and assistance, music therapy, massage therapy reiki and art therapy.
