It's that time of year again! The Kentucky State Fair begins Thursday, August 18 and runs until Sunday, August 28. Come out to the Expo Center to experience the animals, showcases, contests, concerts, fair food, and of course the Midway. Even if you came last year...and the year before that...the State Fair promises a fun-filled day for the whole family. Check out our website for the daily schedules.

Pokemon Go Nights at Slugger Field
"Pokemania" is coming to Louisville Slugger Field! Come catch 'em all with the Bats on Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20 as we host two nights full of Pokemon Go. Enjoy special game night Pokemon Go promotions, contests, discounted ticket options and more! There will be lures activated on the PokeStops near the field for the full three hours each night, and don't forget about our Gym! There will also be contests for the most Pokemon caught and the strongest Pokemon caught, with prizes for the winners both Friday and Saturday.

Clean out your closets, ladies! Let's have a fun girls night out while raising money for a great organization! Here's how it works: Your admission fee is a gently-used dress or purse from your closet (you can bring up to 10 items). Your items will be displayed along with everyone else's and everything will be available for purchase for $20. You get to make some room in your closet, get fabulous deals on like-new items and have a great time with friends all for a great cause. Every Friday, local and regional bands will perform on the RiverStage as part of their summer concert series. This weekend, come see Rumours (a Fleetwood Mac tribute band) perform with Radiotronic! The Jill's Wish Fighter Fun Run 5K, presented by Anthem and named in honor of the Jill’s Wish Foundation co-founder and breast cancer fighter Jill Conley, will take place this Saturday! Louisville Quest!: The New Adventure
