    Bit to Do

Food trucks are the in thing in Louisville these days. Locals and those visiting the city of Louisville for Derby festivities may want to check out some of our local flare at a stop at a food truck counter. Here’s what I found going on around the curbsides this week.

This Twitter handle, WhereTheTrucksAt, is a gem of a social media tool! It’s a food truck finder that uses real-time GPS location data! It works nationally and Louisville is one of its cities, super cool and handy!

Check out Louisville Food Truck Association on Facebook. They update their page pretty regularly and have their different events listed on their page.

See the Louisville Street Food Alliance too, they are very up to date on their Facebook page and Twitter accounts.

Follow BizParkFoodies to find out where food trucks will be visiting within business and industrial parks.

Blackbeard Espresso will be at the Pegasus Parade Thursday (5/1) from 5pm-7pm with Metro United Way at 334 E Broadway at Preston Street.

502 Café will be at Old Taylor Bar all week long.

On a side note, Louisville Food Tour takes participants on a walking tour of restaurants throughout the NuLu district on East Market Street every Saturday. It’s totally awesome. See this review here!

Know of more food truck venues for Derby week? Comment here or tweet them to me @LouStoryGal. I’ll add them to this list!
