    On a budget and still want to frequent the Louisville locals for a meal? Check out these restaurants with a kids eat free/discounted option; they are Louisville-based (some within the region), locally-owned and operated! Shop and eat local with the family!

    Havana Rumba Middletown – February special offering! Monday-Thursday

    WW Cousins – Mondays and Tuesdays

    Tom + Chee – Tuesdays (according to their Twitter account)

    J Gumbo’s (locally franchised business) (according to their Facebook page, kids eat free Saturdays and Sundays at the Poplar Level Road location)

    Bistro 42 in Prospect - Sundays

    Molly Malone’s  in the Highlands – Monday evenings

    Mark’s Feed Store - Tuesdays

    Shiraz Mediterranean Grill - Sundays

    Kingfish – Tuesdays

    Skyline Chili (a pretty close “local”) - Wednesdays

    Taco Punk – Tuesdays + free fountain drinks all day

    Goose Creek Diner - on Sundays, kids 5 and under can eat free for the Sunday brunch

    A round up of local pizza places: Johnny Brusco’s, Bearno’s , Johnny V’s, Hometown Pizza, Mellow Mushroom. These local pizza joints (or locally owned  and operated franchises) have deals. They are linked in the website information for each restaurant featured.
