December FAT Friday Trolley Hop
Many businesses on and around Frankfort Avenue will be hosting special post-holiday sales and live entertainment. Free trolleys runs along Frankfort Avenue from Cannons Lane to River Road. Mellwood Arts Center has new exhibitions, The Wine Rack is hosting a wine and cheese tasting, Vint is offering discounted holiday lattes, and Varanese will have live jazz. Enjoy the last trolley hop of 2013!

The VaVa Vixens Present VaVa CarniVAle at Headliners
Back by popular demand, VaVa CarniVale is a vaudeville-style burlesque variety show at Headliners Music Hall. 25 beautiful men and women will be singing, dancing, contorting, performing, and flirting at the kissing booth. A titillating and fantastic show, perfect for a girl's night out or an adventurous date.

Kentucky Flea Market New Year's Spectacular
Held at the Kentucky Expo center, admission is free. You can meet wrestling legend Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, or just visit more than 1200 booths from all around the US, including 400 antique booths. Get some kettle corn and cotton candy before those pesky new year diets set in.

Watch or Attend the University of Louisville Vs. University of Kentucky Basketball Game
Lexington isn't too far to drive, and certainly bars like Monkey Wrench, The Back Door and Zanzabar will be playing the game if you want to get a brew and a bite while you watch the drama. The game will be broadcast Saturday at 4:00 p.m. on CBS, but don't feel like you have to stay in and watch it. After all, this is Louisville. We don't burn couches here. Usually.
