On a side note, although they're not open for dinner, if you're one of the seven people in the St. Matthews area who hasn't eaten at the new Wild Eggs, you're seriously missing out. I know it seems insane to wait up to an hour for breakfast on a Saturday or Sunday. People keep doing it because they're that good. Ditch the line and lure your coworkers there for a weekday lunch instead - you get the same amazing menu without the long wait. Peanut butter and banana pancakes are brain food - right?

Once the site of a creepily decrepit Winn-Dixie, then the home of the short lived Camelot shopping center, now the corner of Westport Road and Herr Lane boasts an upscale outdoor mall with ambitions of rivaling The Summit. Unlike The Summit, over half of the stores and Restaurants in Westport Village are locally owned.
Tonight, they're hosting a "Hope for Haiti" benefit where they're donating a percentage of all sales between 6-9 pm to help earthquake survivors and rebuilding efforts.
If you've meant to meander that way but haven't made it yet, that makes this is a good night to visit Boombozz new location, Hiko-A-Mon (one of the competitors in this year's Sushi in the City) or Napa River Grill before capping off the evening at the very well reviewed Comfy Cow.
