Schimpff’s knows how to do candy right, and how to give their customers great service and a great experience. They are known for families and locals coming to the store to watch their candy being made right on the marble slab countertops, especially their trademark peppermint candy during the holidays. You have to visit them and support their business, which is one of the oldest operating family-owned candy businesses in the U.S., since 1891! They also have a museum, a deli, and offer gift certificates. They are only open 10am-5pm each day, and is closed on Sundays.

Fuzziwig’s is a locally owned and operated franchise located just outside the Oldham County line in Prospect. They have a very colorful candy display throughout their entire store, and they have tables to enjoy your candy after you pick it out, and games to play together. They also have a party room where they host birthday parties at their store. They are sure to have some unique Halloween creations awaiting you and your families.
