Bag It, the premiere film of the Westport Village Environmental Film Series, will screen September 9th at 8:30pm at Amazing Green Planet, Westport Village Shopping Center, 1301 Herr Lane Louisville, KY 40222. The film is free to view thanks to event sponsors including Heine Brothers Coffee, kyGREEN.tv, and Amazing Green Planet.

Jeb Berrier is just a guy in the world like anybody else--just a guy starring in Suzan Beraza's 78 minute documentary, Bag It. The film takes the perspective of average Joe (--er, Jeb) as he begins to track, awe-inspired, the unavoidable encounters with plastics throughout his every day life. His journey is earnest and provoked by the simplest questions that are borne from our need for the material and the abundance of it.

Enjoy the Westport Village Environmental Film Series debut this Friday, as well as a free showing of YERT: Your Environmental Road Trip on October 7th. If the sky doesn't fall out, the films will be presented outside (bring your lawn chairs and blankets), otherwise the films will be presented within the Heine in Westport Village. Refreshments, goodies, and freebies graciously provided by surrounding shops and kyGREEN.tv.
