Live music will also be featured on Wednesday nights, 6-9 pm on the patio at MACCA’s Florida Seafood Grill, beginning Wednesday, June 11th featuring Jim Dishman.
Grand Opening Weekend Events – The official Ribbon Cutting ceremony will take place Friday, June 20th, at 5 pm featuring Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson, Graymoor-Devondale Mayor John Vaughan, State Senator Julie Denton, State Representatives Scott Brinkman and Bob Deweese, Metro Council Members Ken Fleming and Glen Stuckel, and Metro Development Authority Representative John Fischer. The ceremony will be followed by a champagne toast to kick off the weekend activities including terrific shopping and dining specials, entertainment, the opportunity to win fantastic prizes. A special fireworks display is scheduled for 10 pm Friday night.
Grand Opening entertainment includes The Glassworks Juicy Lucy mobile glass blowing demonstrations, Fire Spinners, Magic Shows, Balloon Creations, Face Painting, The WDJX Money Cube, Louisville Riverbats Buddy, Radio Disney, Graymoor-Devondale Police Safety Program, Ballard High School Doo Wop Band, St. Matthews Fire Department Old Time Fire Truck “Betsy”, and the Jo Ann Fryrear School of Dance.
