They’re back, all right—and fans are set to be louder than ever.

The defending NCAA D-II men’s basketball champions Bellarmine Knights host the Midwest Regional starting this coming Saturday, March 10. After three rounds, the winner will advance to the Elite Eight in Northern Kentucky.

The tournament will take place March 10, 11 and 13 in Knights Hall on the Bellarmine campus. Tickets will be on sale in the lobby from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, through Friday. Due to the short time frame, phone orders will not be accepted.

And never mind those other teams—Knights fans can cheer with the best of them.

“Last year we hosted the Midwest Regional for the first time, and it was a fun, rowdy occasion,” says Jason Cissell, Bellarmine’s director of media relations and social networking. “[This year we will have] great competition, and the price is pretty good.” And rowdy doesn’t scratch the surface, as Ferris State (Michigan) coach Bill Sall learned last year: “The environment we played in was what a team should have at home in the tournament,” he told Michigan news site mlive.com. “It’s the loudest game I’ve ever been a part of.”

Reserved seats are $12 per session, while general admission seats are $10 per session. Student tickets (with identification) are $5 per session.
