Still flying after Bellarmine’s victory over BYU last Saturday? Tonight, you’ll have one last chance to see the 2011 Division II champion Knights on their home court—for free. In celebration of its first-ever NCAA championship (in any sport), fans are invited to a free public celebration tonight at 7:30 p.m. at, yes, Knights Hall.

The doors will open at 6:30 and seating will be first-come, first-served. The 7:30 celebration will feature the team, along with speakers including Bellarmine President Joseph McGowan, Coach Scott Davenport, seniors on the Knights’ championship team, Athletics Director Scott Wiegandt and special guest Mayor Greg Fischer. The Bellarmine Pep Band will also accompany the unveiling of the championship banner.

Want to dress the part? National championship t-shirts will available Tuesday night in the Knights Hall lobby concession stands for $15, and are already going for $20 at the Highlands Kroger. (They’ll also be available in Louisville-area Kroger stores while supplies last.)

Knights Hall is located off of Norris Place at Knights Way.
